Cravings!

So occasionally in some instances pregnancy creates cravings. This was very true when I was pregnant with Gracie, so much so I probably should have bought stock in  Ben & Jerry's Ice cream. Brian indulged in that craving with me, there was of course a lot of arm twisting to get him to join in (not really)!  With this pregnancy I would much prefer pickles, anything citrus, and think I could quite possibly live on meat and cheese! Brian, I am pretty sure was expecting me to crave sweets non stop again or he is having withdrawals from me baking because I woke up to these scrumptious homemade cinnamon rolls!

Now don't think just cause a jar of pickles is my best friend that I would turn these down!!!!
(ppssst...after almost 9 years of marriage I am accomplishing the almost impossible, training of man!) :)

Let the bet's start!

Update on baby #2! Had a check up today, we are now 17 weeks along. Doctor reviewed everything and asked if we wanted to know if we are having a girl or boy. Well yeah, of course we want to know! So he took a quick sneak peak with the ultrasound, and......we still have to wait 4 more weeks for the next ultrasound to find out, sorry! Baby had his/her legs squeezed so tightly together there was no way to tell, and would not budge. I have been feeling baby move more and more each day and have another karate kid. So far the only thing similar to this pregnancy and when I was pregnant with Gracie, is they both are movers! Other than that everything to this point has been different.
So the big day is in 4 weeks, on March 5th, so let the bets roll in; Girl OR Boy?

A shot of adrenaline? Why sure!

So there is a sport called "Snow Kiting" that is done here that in my opinion is pure craziness! I am sure it's done in other places too, I was just made aware of it today however. It involves a snow covered hillside, wind, a BIG kite, skis or snowboard and one crazy person who I must point out at least wears a helmet! From what I witnessed, the objective is to catch a big wind as your coming across the mountain and try to catch air, the bigger the better..... Very cool to watch, but you'll never see me doing it! (If you click on the picture it will zoom in)

Time off

With my expanding waistband, loss of graceful balance, child that keeps telling me "WOW mom, your getting huge" and constant reminders that the show season has started and I am months away from being back in the saddle, my mood has been well, not the most pleasant!

This morning my horse reassured me that he is really ok with the well deserved time off.....

I might not be able to get on right now but I can still enjoy watching him play and be a horse. I am ok with that and pretty sure he is too!
