Reverse

Well, she is not quite crawling yet, BUT she has reverse totally mastered! She may need to check her mirrors next time so she does not find herself wedged under the cabinet....

More projects to come soon!

Well we think we have found "the place!" Yeah I know we have said that before but hopefully we mean it this time and by golly sure gonna give it our best shot!

We are purchasing a home in Monroe on 18 acres! It's a work in progress type of place (only 2 1/2 acres are actually cleared). No horse barn or arena.....But lots of stuff for Brian to cut down, bulldoze and make a mess of to build me one!!! :) And it has a toy box for Brian!

Gracie is getting ready to start kindergarten at her new school this week too! She is super excited that she will get to ride a school bus! She will be attending all day kindergarten but only 3 days a week, so that will be quite a change but she loves school and would probably go 7 days a week all day if they let her!!!!

SO as progress continues we will keep ya posted!

Back in Washington!

Well it's a New Year so time to catch up on the last couple of weeks! For anyone who did not know, we have moved from Utah back to Washington! The move was fairly uneventful.... only a couple hiccups! We are happy to be back! :)

The girls had a wonderful perpetual Christmas with their Grandma's and Grandpa's!

Now that the holidays are over we are ready for the adventures that 2013 will be bringing! We have our business up and rolling. We are on the hunt for a new home (again)! :)

BEST Friends!

We are down to our last week in Utah so Gracie and her best buddy have been having LOTS of play-dates. The girls wanted to play at our house and I thought perfect, Gracie will be playing and I can get some packing done! Of which I did, then it dawned on me that most all of the toys were already packed..... Then I peaked out the window and remembered my child has an imagination as big as the world (and so does her friend)!

Santa

Took the girls to see Santa, Gracie had been looking forward to it all week long and asking each day after school what day we were going..... Finally Friday night arrived! Amongst all the chaos of packing I failed to notice what Gracie had put in her purse as we got in the car to leave. She stood in line so patently and quietly, and then when it was her turn she unloaded her "list." Her list was cut out pieces from my Teskeys catalog (horse goodies). She had filled an entire zip-lock bag! She jumped up on Santa's lap and took each one out and handed them to Santa. Santa studied each one very carefully and made note of them all!

Presley however was not so sure about this guy in a red suit that she had been handed off to....

Even though she looks as she is about to cry, we got through her 1st Santa visit with no tears!

Traveling gypsies.... Yeah maybe!

So I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag, since we just sold our house..... We are moving, again! We sold our house after only having it listed for 1 week, so onto another adventure! It won't be so much of a new adventure, kind of old actually. We have made a choice to move back to Washington, although we have not nailed down exactly where in WA yet, see I told ya we are like damn gypsies! :) But we are not moving because we don't like Utah and all it has to offer, we have some wonderful family and friends that we adore and will tremendously miss!! But we made the choice for us and what is important to us as a family. This decision has been difficult but we feel its the right one. And it's been said before, "we are not moving again" so bring on the I told ya so's! :) I am getting tired of moving so I hope we find just the right place so we can stay put for more than a couple years!

Utah has been everything and more than we expected it to be, it is a wonderful place to live and raise a family in. There are people and things that we feel are very important to have in our lives, and unfortunately there are miles and miles between two places we wish we could be, and well it's really hard to be in two places at once!

If everything goes smoothly we will be moving the week of Christmas, nothing like a crazy chaotic Christmas huh!

We love and will miss everyone here in Utah, we have such wonderful family and friends as well as new friends we have met!

SCIENCE!

Ok, I get to gloat and be proud, I guess that's one of the other perks of having a school age kid! :)
It's science fair time and Gracie really wanted to do a project (it's not required K-2nd grade). So I agreed, but WHAT kind of project can a kindergartener do mostly on their own??? After searching and thinking we decided on a project that included Gracie's favorite candy, M&M's!

The project; Which M&M color melts the fastest?
It was fun and a hit! Gracie won 3rd place out of all the projects K-2nd!

She was also pretty proud!

Oh yeah, the outcome was ORANGE melts first!
