Shopping without a list

All this warm sunny spring like weather has given us spring fever. But just cause it's warm and sunny does not mean you can't wake up the next morning to 6" of snow... For now, it's nice weather!

So on with my story. Warm weather and plans of growing a much better garden this year, off we went to the local farm store to get our seeds and get our starts going. I figure aww, we don't need a list, seed packets have pictures and we know what we want to grow this year. We will pick up some seeds, starter tray and see if there is anything else we need. WELL I make lists for a reason, if it's not on my list, I don't get it. When you take Brian and Gracie along and no list you end up coming home with more than you were initially going for......

Bringing home baby chicks is not that far off the "food source" shopping trip, right??? I guess if they don't lay enough eggs we can just eat the chickens! :)
