Weekend out and about

Between the variation of weather days (changes so frequently it actually reminds me of UT weather!) we have been trying to do a family outing at least once a week! We have gone many places and lots of adventures and sometimes the simplest ones are the best! The Imagine Children's Museum is up there pretty high on Gracie's list, its a great indoor/outdoor place just for kids and is a mixture of science and just plain fun!

But our latest trip to the local antique museum I think might just be topping her list! It's FULL of old farming, logging, train and mining stuff from around our area. When I say FULL I mean it too, oh and did I mention there are LOTS of working displays! It's ran by volunteers, one of which gave us a most excellent tour and showed Gracie how everything worked! We were there for hours, even Presley enjoyed watching everything! The highlight of the tour was when our tour guide fired up the old steamer and Gracie got to pull the horn!

She was not too impressed when she learned how laundry used to be done!
