When we lived in Utah we were up in the mountains exploring almost weekly. In fact it was one thing we knew we would miss the most when we moved away. It's not that Washington isn't beautiful, there are mountains too but Washington has A LOT of rules on how you may enjoy public lands, but I will leave that story for another day!
Well rules have never stopped us, so we went for a ride this weekend! We did legally so don't worry (but we were scoping out where we can take the Rhino). :-)
The road got a little rough, questionable at times to be 4x4'n in a full size diesel....but nothing the ol' dodge can't handle!
It's a different kind of beauty in the mountains here, there really is some stunning scenery! And a definite appreciation of loggers! If I was braver, I would have stepped out on the edge of the landing we were on to show just how steep and high we were.
