For quite some time now Gracie has been bugging me about riding Twister (my cutting horse). I guess it's kind of my fault because I told her last year that if she would help out with taking care of him I would help her learn how to ride and eventually she could take him over and he would be her horse. Well there is very little she forgets, unless its things she does not want to do....
Ever since the sun started shining this spring I have heard a never ending "Mom, can I ride Twister yet?" So today Gracie and I saddled him up and they went for a short little trail ride up the road (with me walking along side of course). Twister has not been saddled or ridden since my last show in November so I was a little nervous, but he was good and acted like he never missed a day!
I am so proud of my little girl being such a "Cowgirl" and having no fear! Some days I wish she did have a little fear but that's how they learn and it makes her who she is! Also just a little proud of the little cutting horse who was misunderstood and no one wanted because he was crazy who is now turning into a pretty amazing horse!
