What an exciting, crazy busy week it’s been and it’s only Wednesday!
A lot has happened so far this week (aside from Brian’s pliers’ incident).
Gracie had Kindergarten registration and testing on Monday, passed everything
with flying colors even the hearing portion (so we know she can hear us she just chooses not to
listen…). Tuesday, wow Tuesday…started by Brian and I getting a crash course in
having 2 girls. We babysat the neighbors baby for a few hours and it went
pretty well. So hopefully that means we are ready cause I don’t think we can
turn back now! :) Then it was off for a doctor appointment to check on our
baby, everything looks good, she is growing rapidly of course. They will be doing one last
U/S next week to check her lungs and the fluid level around her then we will be making a
delivery decision! Then we had to rush back for two dress rehearsals for Gracie’s
Dance group. In between rehearsals, hair and makeup we were able to scarf down
some dinner then it was off to the recital! And Wednesday, Pre-School
Graduation which means the last day of school and it’s now summer break! Oh
yeah, and somewhere in the mix of all of it, was work….
Such a crazy busy week filled with so much emotion, mainly happiness
and being very proud of our little girl!
Here are some of the exciting times! One of which is the "Daddy Daughter" dance, yes Brian actually had to get up in front of people and DANCE, well kinda! The video stinks because I could not get a good spot to record, but at least I did get some of it! Even with crappy video, it was adorable to see Gracie and her daddy dancing together!
One of the other dances the girls did was "Fireworks" and it included sequin shirts and pom poms! What little girl does not love that!
At the very end of the recital there were awards from the year, and to our surprise Gracie won an award! She won "Most Improved Dancer" for her division. Here she is getting her award and holding up her prize!
And today's Pre-School graduation! The kids had a cute little ceremony which included them singing to us, and then it was down to business with their diplomas! :)
That pretty much wraps it up! Things should settle down now that school is out and we only have T-Ball and a new baby on the way, right????? :)
